9 Months Old!

Hey beautiful people!! How was your summer? I am so happy for the fall season. The leaves are changing, the air is chilly and soup season is here!

So it’s been well over a year that I’ve written in this blog. Time has flown by so fast!

Birth of Isabella

My water broke around 8 pm, at the hospital by 1030 pm. Pain, epidural, up all night, Izzy entered the scene next day at 3pm.

3 hours later I had a grand mal seizure. Unfortunately alone as my hubby was out getting my caramel apples. I was feeling great, so I asked him to get them. My mom had stepped outside to make a call. I called my hubby that I didn’t feel well (I knew a seizure was coming) I yelled for help but not loud enough, I was embarrassed.

Woke up, as you do after a seizure, confused and so sad and scared. Shawn said the baby was ok. I ask him, “We have a baby?” I had forgotten the last 9 months.

Adjusting Life With Izzy

Learning to be a mom is a crash course with no time breathe. I wanted to post on here but postpartum was ALOT! When I was younger I always said I was busy, boy was I wrong. Now I’m busy. I’m learning what things are a priority in my life. Someone said, “Everyone has 24 hours in a day. It just depends on how you use it.” My goal is to write the little that I can and post here.

I’m feeling much better with this decision. I write this as I am breastfeeding my sweet daughter as I help my mom do some ring shopping. My doggy is on the sofa, looking out the window and my hubby’s taking a shower. My daughter is now clapping, she just learned how to do that.

That’s all for today. I’m sticking to my boundary. Ta-ta! God bless.
